Beautiful place and lots to do

Loved our stay in pittaniya, the place is absolutely gorgeous, and loved the service. Easy access to beach and other places of interest. Family bike rides they arranged on the back roads was fabulous. A lovely way to experience Sri Lanka.

Stunning

Don't even think about it !!!! Just book this place....it's awesome ! Unfortunately we only stayed for 3 nights and if I had my time again I would have booked it for my whole time in the south of Sri Lanka ! The Villa itself is a gorgeous example of modernist asian elegance. The atmosphere itself is one of a relaxed up market hotel rather than a beach Villa. The staff were attentive at all times and we enjoyed a lovely long relaxed breakfast prepared by them with a mix of east/west influence. The garden and pool are incredible and add to that relaxed ambiance that just flows from this place. I had the opportunity to meet with the Bertha and Shiran the owners who were so extremely helpful with all the questions we had, from great places to eat to what we should do on our one and only overcast day. The villa is just a short stroll from the beach which we did a couple of times with our young son, or you can even catch a Tuk Tuk if you have one too many ......easy to do when you are so close to all the great food places around. One night we couldn't be bothered leaving the pool and so we organised for pizza to be delivered with the help of the staff and Bertha.....pizza was awesome and well the atmosphere by the pool beat going out thats for sure. Our room was the king room and we loved the outdoor shower....our son loved the outdoor bath. The room was air-conditioned and remained at a comfortable temperature all night long. ......In short dont think twice about booking this place....we loved it, we loved the food, we loved the staff, and we LOVED the pool.

“Stylish oasis with personalised service and charme”

I choose to stay ( unfortunately only one night) at Pittaniya villa , following all the great reviews! This is truly an oasis in the quite touristy part of the country and a perfect place to relax and enjoy. Though it's very near to all things, restaurants, bars, beach, Galle etc. Eric the owner is always helping with advise and recommendations (TukTuk, locations, etc.) to make the stay pleasant! The villa is fantastic , stylish and an architectural highlight -mentioned in many international magazines.. for a very good reason! The rooms do have no a/c but in the evening the fans are sufficient to keep the room cool for sleeping. Great breakfast and nice staff to assist. Thank you Eric!

Great villa on outskirts of Unawatuna

Great location, set back a few minutes walk from Dalawella Beach in a quiet location. Eric & the team were very accommodating with anything we needed & breakfast every morning was delicious and differed each day. The facilities were excellent & the villa is very well spaced & designed. There's no air con, but the fan was sufficient for us (visited August) to sleep comfortably.

Luxurious private retreat

Pittaniya is the most beautiful villa and was the perfect end to our holiday in Sri Lanka. Because there are only 3 guest rooms, we frequently had the pool/villa to ourselves, making our stay feel like a luxurious private retreat. The villa is a short tuk tuk from Galle, whilst still walking distance to a few beach restaurants. Eric was a fabulously attentive host, always happy to help answer questions and offer suggestions. Lovely breakfast too.

ELEGANT & LUXURY HOME STAY!”

Design, elegant and at the same time luxury home stay. Located near Dalawella Beach with very easy walkable path only few minutes away from the main road. Great ambience , atmosphere and design with an enormous garden ready to welcome it's guests. Amazing pool , breakfast and great smiles from professionals. We would admit that it's a great team . Numerous recommendations from both Lisa and Eric regarding yoga , massage treatments and great restaurants nearby. Just ask and they will be at your disposal with excellent communication prior and upon your arrival. The complex and it's rooms are minimal with a relaxing sitting area inside and outside the pool area. All you can hear is the nature and the fantastic sounds of jungle. Perfect place to stay for couples ,friends and small groups. Once more thank you Lisa , Eric and great team for such a nice job. Hopefully we will see you again at the near future. Excelent place to stay

Extraordinary stay! You shall stay at this villa if you are traveling around Unawatuna reagion. Eric made everything to make us feel like at home! You will not find better place at Sri Lanka.

Just great way to relax

The owner is a really nice guy who will do everything he can to make your stay as comparable as possible. We stayed for four nights and felt home from the first moment. The hotel has three rooms and they are all great. The outside bathrooms are nice and beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good and the swimming pool is lovely. To location is good and is less then 10 minutes walking from the see.

Just Perfect!

The villa is stunning. Eric the owner is a fantastic host, super welcoming. I felt like home. The villa itself is possibly one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I honestly can't describe the vibe of the house but if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful experience in Sri Lanka that is definitely the place to go.
